Frequently asked questions

What is a Roblox fan wiki?

A fan wiki is a community-written encyclopedia for a Roblox game or for the platform itself. Volunteers add articles about items, updates, lore, and mechanics.

Should I trust a fan wiki over official docs?

Use official Roblox creator documentation for scripting, APIs, and policies. Use fan wikis for player-facing mechanics, collectibles, event history, and community terminology. When both exist, read both.

Why are there multiple Roblox Wiki forks?

Editors sometimes move to independent forks when they want different moderation, fewer ads, or archival policies. Forks on Miraheze or self-hosted setups can lag behind or leap ahead of Fandom depending on volunteer activity.

How do I find a wiki for a specific game?

Search this directory by game name or tag, starting with independent and Miraheze listings when available. If a wiki is missing, you can also search Fandom directly for games we have not cataloged yet.

How do I open the actual wiki?

Open any listing to read the guide on this site. The Open wiki button on the guide page takes you to the live site.

How often is this directory updated?

We add and refresh listings as new wikis appear or URLs change. Check back when a game gets a big update or a new community hub launches.

Can I request a wiki be added?

Yes. If a Roblox wiki is missing from the directory, email [email protected] with the wiki name, URL, and a short note on what it covers. We review suggestions and add listings that are public, Roblox-related, and useful as references. Please note a wiki has to at least be a month old to be considered.
